This little booklet helps children to practise recalling their times tables out of order. Each page holds 14 questions relating to one set of tables, with the answers on the back so children can mark their own answers. Great for children who get stressed by pages of timed calculations, great for tutors working 1:1, great for teachers and parents who need to oversee practice without pages of marking!

    Times Tables Home Schooling Booklet

We have developed the Individual Flipp Flopps Times Tables self marking booklet to help children recall their times tables. The questions are listed out of order. Additionally, and there’s one page for each set of times tables. Each child in the class or the group would have one of these booklets. You flip to the set of questions they want to answer, and move all the other pages to the back of the booklet.

Flipp Flopps are ideal for Times Tables Home Schooling and the Classroom

Use your Flipp Flopps Times Tables self marking booklet at home or in the classroom. Your child will normally just put the booklet down on their table, on a piece of scrap paper. Next, then attempt to fill in the answers next to the questions.

Some of the questions are duplicated/replicated. The reason is to replicate some of the questions that children often get wrong. When reaching the bottom of the list of questions, the child simply flipps over the page and they’ve got the answers there. They then, which self-mark and see which ones they’ve got right and which ones they need to work on.

If the child gets a question wrong, it can be helpful for them to see the correct answer and try to remember the correct answer for the next time. Importantly, it is an opportunity for the child to engage with a supporting adult and discuss what answers they know and those they don’t know. Above all, to focus on the particular areas that they are not confident on. Then they work on developing strategies to learn those facts as part of learning all their times tables.
